Your Role

As an Operations Intern at Colonies, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the resident experience. You'll work closely with our Operations team to support the day-to-day management of our coliving spaces, particularly during the high-activity summer months. This internship is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, organized, and eager to dive into a variety of projects—including some at the intersection of tech and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Experience Support: Assist in managing and improving touchpoints between tenants and the Colonies team, ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction throughout their stay.

- Summer Rotations Management: Help coordinate the high volume of tenant rotations during the summer, ensuring a smooth transition process for all residents.

- Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to operational workflows that enhance efficiency and tenant satisfaction.

- Tech Collaboration: Collaborate with our tech team to evolve digital tools—such as improving our chatbot functionality or gathering feedback for platform enhancements.

- Data Collection & Analysis: Gather insights from tenant interactions and feedback to support data-driven decisions for better service delivery.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other teams (e.g., Tech, Customer Success, Property Management) to ensure cohesive and effective operations.

What We’re Looking For

- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field

- You love discovering the unknown by focusing on innovative solutions that do not exist yet :) 

- Excellent communication in English and/or French

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

- Interest in customer experience, real estate operations, and/or tech-enabled services

- Bonus: Experience with customer service tools, chatbots, or tech platforms
